SUMMER CAMP
In Jana's week-long art camps, kids aged 8-14 plunge into an array of projects, including painting, drawing, puppet building, collaging and sculpture.
Camp projects include building miniature worlds, theater sets, and cities made out of cardboard; creating pinatas as a whole group and smashing them at the end of the week in celebration of creative power; performing their puppet projects for the participating families; making art fires to appreciate the beauty of ephemeral art; and painting their own bodies with mud and chalk.
Campers have sketched self portraits, the surrounding nature, and images from their imaginations. Each summer we have brought together a small community of campers who love to be creative, invent, use tools and art supplies, and work and play outdoors.
This summer's camps are at capacity. Please check in again next year.
