About the show

Bring Sandglass to the intimacy of your own home with a treasured holiday performance of The Nativity. Featuring delicate hand cut original shadow puppets by Ines Zeller Bass, performed by Shoshana Bass and Finn Campman, with live musical accompaniment by Archer Parks. Bring something unique to your holiday party with this magical living room entertainment. Christmas was celebrated in Victorian times by welcoming all into one’s home during the Holidays to share in a drink, raise a toast to friendship, and to participate in a parlor entertainment. The Nativity is the iconic Christmas story presented as Shadow Theater with delicacy, heart and humor. Behind a large white backdrop, performers, puppets and cut outs will recreate the first Christmas in ‘Silhouette’.

Performances are $500 and can be booked by individuals or consortiums for the month of December, 2024. They must take place within a 60 mile radius of Sandglass Theater.
